Pop ups turn it off!

This app has everything I am looking for... Only one BIG problem. If I have anything that is set as a pop up notification that happens prior to the alarm going off BCR doesnt make the alarm! I have calendar reminders and weather notifications that are set to pop up everyday. This makes BCR useless. Cant this be fixed???
